ZingMate Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances promptly and smoothly.
ZingMate is not a dating app. ZingMate is a social platform that helps you find friends who share your interests. AI ZingMate analyzes your interests and recommends friends with similar hobbies and preferences.

Why location is required: ZingMate helps you find friends nearby who share your interests. Without location information, nearby friend discovery is not possible. Your exact address is never disclosed; only an approximate distance (e.g., "within 500m") is shown to other users.
Important: Detailed information collected during onboarding (lifestyle, personality, preferences, etc.) is known only to AI ZingMate and is not directly disclosed to other users. AI ZingMate uses this information to find friends with overlapping interests, without revealing which specific information matches.

Why notifications matter: ZingMate is a social service where friends frequently reach out to you. If notifications are turned off, you may miss messages from friends, making it difficult to communicate smoothly. We recommend enabling notifications for the core purpose of the service (finding friends and communicating).

ZingMate is available only to users aged 18 or older. Date of birth is verified during onboarding, and registration is restricted for users confirmed to be under 18.
